I had the AWESOME opportunity to review a few products from CJ's Unique Boutique. I am always
seeing reviews and giveaways for CJ's BUTTer and have been dying to try it! When
I got in touch with them, they agreed to send me some samples to check out and
one to giveaway soon:-)! Can I just say that I was SUPER EXCITED!
First
off, I LOVE the name CJ's BUTTer...so
cute and creative! Hopefully the name gives you a clue that this product was
originally created as a Cloth Diaper Safe Rash Balm! It is important when using
Cloth Diapers that you use a Cloth Diaper Safe Balm to help preserve the
effectiveness of your diapers. You also want something that will be nourishing to your babies bum and be filled with lots of all-natural ingredients. Get a look at the ingredients:

Our Experience with Diaper Rash
My son has very sensitive skin. That being said, it has been quite difficult to keep him dry and keep Diaper Rash at bay. I literally have to change him ever 1-2 hours and he is 7 months old! It seemed as if the Diaper Rash would never leave!!! When I received my CJ's BUTTer sampler in the mail, I started using a tiny amount of the PLUS formula when he started to look red or pink. By the next time I changed him, the redness was gone! I was amazed! How could something so "all-natural" work so well? I think it is the mixture of ingredients above. Nature's solution to nature's problem! The best part is that one application of the BUTTer lasted for a few diaper changes. The oils in the BUTTer allow it to adhere to the skin very well! I was so impressed!
In addition to using this on my baby's bum, I also used this
on my hands! If you are like me, and you have a new baby at home (or any baby,
or better yet, anyone who doesn't want to get sick), you will be washing
your hands constantly. Washing your hands all the time paired with the cold New
England air often produces dry, chapped and flaky skin...eugh! I put some of
the BUTTer on my hands, and then put on my moisturizing gloves over top of the
balm for the night...when I got up in the morning, my hands felt so soft, and
the flakes were gone!!
In A Nutshell:
My Thought's: I love this product as a Diaper Rash
Balm. It is so soft and gentle on my little guy's bum. I also love the
different scents that it comes in! In addition to being a great diaper balm, it
works great on dry skin and even your hair (I used it on my eye brows too)!
The Hubby's Thoughts: (Let me
warn you that the hubby has very, very dry skin and is VERY PICKY about lotions
and moisturizers...he claims to know within 15 minutes if a moisturizer is good
or not). That being
said, the hubby tried the lotion sample and LOVED it!! In fact, when I went to try the lotion sample for myself, I found it right next to his iPhone!! That
is a pretty special place to be because he takes his iPhone EVERYWHERE!
The Baby's Thoughts: This feels
so good on my bum!! Ahhhhhh...blueberry crumble is my favorite! That's him in the picture trying to eat the blueberry crumble sample! Good thing its all-natural!
The Dog's Thoughts: When I
first opened the package, her nose was all over it! She too loved the blueberry
crumble...I had to stop her from trying to lick the BUTTer!
