Swaddlebees One Size Simplex Review and Giveaway

I recently came into contact with Rana, the owner of Dearest Diapers, and I must say, it has been such a pleasure to work with both her and her company. Dearest Diapers offers free fast shipping and excellent customer service, not to mention a great selection of products! Rana is a mother of two adorable kiddos. She started cloth diapering her second son at 4 months when she couldn't seem to find a solution for the terrible skin irritations that kept popping up. Even with her 4 year degree in Biology, Rana couldn't seem to find a solution. Enter in...CLOTH DIAPERS! Since using cloth, she noticed a huge difference in both behavior and skin irritations. She was hooked and opened a store to share this wealth of knowledge with others! Be sure to follow Dearest Diapers on Facebook and Twitter to get a jump start on the giveaway!

My Thoughts:
I really liked this diaper. A lot. I am not a huge fan of All-In-One diapers because they tend to hold the stink in a little more and are harder to wash and dry more so than other styles of diapers. I do think that the dual pocket openings help in both cleaning and drying the diaper. The dual openings also allow for additional inserts to be used for naps or nighttime use. Overall, this diaper fit my son very well. The waist and legs were snug to his skin, helping to prevent leaks. We had no leaks while using this diaper.

I love the versatility of this diaper. If you prefer an all natural material touching your baby's bum, you can use the 100% cotton layer stuffed with the stay dry layer. If you prefer the stay dry microfleece on your baby's bum, go ahead and unstuff the microfleece layer from inside of the pocket, and place it on top of the cotton fabric.

In a true All-In-One Diaper, you don't have to stuff the inserts, but because this diaper has 2 different ways to use it, it may have to be stuffed if you would like the all natural birdseye cotton portion touching your baby's bum. But no worries because unlike other pocket diapers, you don't need to unstuff it because it should agitate out in the wash.

The price on this diaper is a little high as compared to other AIO's, but remember that you are paying for the quality of materials (birdseye cotton and stay dry microfleece). This diaper is also made in the USA, so you will not be getting a cheap imported diaper. I really really liked this diaper, but unfortunately with the high cost, I probably will not be able to add a significant number of these diapers to my stash.

  5. We have the cow print in our stash and it fits my 35lb 30 month old REALLY well. It's super trim fitting too. I tend to sort of triple fold the absorbent part and put it right in the front for the boys. It's worked really good as an overnight diaper for us like that! :)

  30. this is a pricey diaper, though am sure it reflects quality, as you say. I am curious to know your thoughts on which material should touch the baby's bottom (understanding that it's not everyone else's preference).

    1. I use the diaper both ways. I like the stay dry because it helps the baby to feel dry...but I also like the all naturalness of the 100% cotton. I change it up depending on the day:-)
