My Thoughts:

This diaper fit my son very well. I have trouble with a lot of the pocket diapers because they do not fit snug enough around his waist or legs. I love the crossover snaps and waist elastic that allow for a snug fit. I love that there is no gapping in the leg elastics. In fact, on the smallest setting, it seems like this diaper would fit even smaller than 8lbs which gives this diaper more versatility. A lot of the one-size diapers claim to fit from birth to potty training, but most do not. I believe that this diaper will fit a normal size baby at birth because the leg holes become very tiny and trim. This will help to keep the poop in the diaper.

I love that the opening for the pocket diaper is in the front so you don't have to touch the "poop" to get the insert out. The opening is also fully covered by a thick piece of microfleece that lies flat on the diaper. This is very helpful and allows for a flat fit.

This diaper has a fairly trim fit for being a pocket diaper. Multiple inserts can also be used to increase the absorbency. I like that the insert has snaps and can be adjusted to small, medium and large sizes. This diaper had excellent absorbency and the stay dry microfleece helped to keep my baby feeling dry. The inserts also have the "Oh Katy" logo on them which is nice for keeping track of which inserts go with which diapers. Although many inserts are interchangable, I like to keep the inserts together...I know, I am picky!

I love the vibrant colors that this diaper comes in. Berry, Cherry, Melon, Bluebird, Sage, Froggy, and the list goes on from there

As you will see in my slide show above, I have highlighted all of the important and unique features of the Oh Katy one size pocket diaper. I also did a comparison with the Kawaii pocket diaper. The biggest differences comes in the side view of the diaper. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but once again, the small and trim leg holes provide a great fit.

As with any other cloth diapers that have a cross over snap feature, this diaper can easily be folded up and snapped together for storage. This comes in handy particularly when you have a poopy diaper on your hands. Keep the poop contained with the Wrap N' Snap feature!

I do have to honestly say that this is probably one of my favorite pocket diapers for my son!

What Would I change:
  • I would love to see this diaper in prints or cute patterns.
  • I would also love to see this diaper in aplix as well.
  • This diaper seems to run a little small. While it may fit right at birth, depending on the size of your child, you may not make it all the way to potty training once again depending on the size of your child.
  • I would love to see this diaper as a Pocket/AI2 combo. If the material in the liners is changed to a bum safe material, the inserts could snap in and the diaper could transform into an AI2. I love the versatility of the AI2
  • At $17.95 the prices seems pretty good for the quality of the diaper and the (2) inserts you will receive.

  6. I have 2 Oh Katy diapers in our stash. One I got BN in a trade for used newborn diapers and the other I won in a giveaway! Needless to say I'm so glad to have been able to try these without actually having to pay for it. I really do like them. The fleece lining is soft and I like the front pocket opening.

  8. Seems like a decent OS diaper to get for a newborn stash. Love the twilight color. But I agree, would like to see prints instead of just colors. Too many diaper brands lack prints... and have the exact same color choices.
