Almost Pulling an All-Nighter...Baby Style

Last night was one of those nights!!! You know those all-nighters you used to pull in college studying for finals...it was kind of like that only I wasn't studying boring chemistry or physics...I was caring for a sick, screaming baby!!! I was up until almost 5 AM last night! Guess it comes with the territory of being a mom...it wasn't the first and it won't be the last. Glad I have that little face to make it all worth it:)

Have you ever pulled an all-nighter with your little one?

  1. I remember one all nighter with you on the bathroom floor because you had the dreaded "throw-up" bug!

  2. I think if I did I have blocked it from my memory! LOL - I do remember one night when my son had a bad bad cold, and was having trouble breathing, and then I got a cold too... and we only had 1 humidifier at the time - so I put our camping mattress on the floor by his crib so I could both keep an eye on his breathing through the night AND also benefit from his humidifier... what a terrible night THAT was!
Your baby is a CUTIE PIE!!!! :)

  5. I am so sorry! But I can commensurate- Many Many times, I have pulled all nighters with both of my kids. It does unfortunately come along with the territory! I hope you get a nap in today.

  7. Aw, that face is precious! Pulling an all nighter can be tough! When my daughter was a newborn I remember having to do it.

  8. Oh, I remember those nights, particularly with my first baby. Remembering it now, I still can't figure out why she was crying--then I would cry, too. So blasted frustrating.

  11. There is nothing worse than a baby being sick, as a mom you feel so helpless :-( I was fortunate that I never had to pull an all-nighter with my daughter, but I did once when my little nephew stayed the night. It is par for the course of motherhood, but it's still the best job in the world, isn't it? :-)
