To the Park and Beyond

Me and little J.T. (what we call my son for short) went to the park this morning. I figured I should get some kind of walk in before it starts raining for the nexa 2 days! As you can tell from the picture, my son is pretty excited about going to the park:)

Once we got there, we saw lots of cool things...check out the frozen lake/ice cracks...doesn't it look like a tree? Pretty cool!
The view was pretty too, in a winter kinda of way. I always liked the winter because even though everything is dead, we know spring and summer come up next!! That excites me!
Then we had a little more excitement, we saw a man riding a horse...and of course that causes drama when you have a little dog with a Napoleon complex who like to boss everyone around, no matter how big the animal is! Below is a sequence of events following the horse run-in...
Little Duchess (our Rat Terrier) scarred off the horse...or so she thought! She then proceeded to stare it down across the entire lake, all the while, J.T. slept through the entire event!
Overall for this gloomy winter Thursday, we had a good time. Trying to enjoy every minute with little J.T. because I've been told they get big quick and time flies!
